As the largest industry event east of the Pacific states, EWE is designed to provide Eastern U.S. and Canadian wineries, vineyards and suppliers with an easily accessible, affordable and professional meeting place, trade show and Eastern-focused conference.
The 3-day event provides numerous opportunities for meeting the experts; sharing wine, knowledge, tips & techniques; networking, learning, socializing, equipment purchasing and wine tasting.
For the first time, EWE will take place in Richmond, Virginia, and will be sponsored by the Virginia Wineries Association, and they’ll announce to the public for the first time, the wines that placed in the Governor’s Case (top 12 gold-medal wines) in the 2026 Virginia Governor’s Cup. These wines can then be tasted by attendees.
The conference will feature 50 seminar sessions over three days, and 200 trade show booths 3/25-26.
Conference Manager Richard Leahy says this may be the best set of speakers and topics he’s put together yet, featuring new technologies, procedures, and management practices that are focused on Eastern growing conditions and the current challenges of climate change.
Marketing sessions will be offered by License to steal Wine Marketing, and will feature the Riedel Tasting Experience.
Those who register online within the first 48 hours—by November 7 at 1:00 PM ET—will receive an additional 10% discount on their registration.
