Conor McCaney

Head Winemaker

Conor has spent nearly a decade working in the Eastern U.S. wine industry. He holds an M.S. in Food Science & Technology, specializing in food chemistry, from Penn State University; a B.S. in Chemistry from Saint Joseph’s University, along with a Bachelor’s degree (Hospitality) and an Associate’s degree (Baking & Pastry Arts) from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.  As the head winemaker at Hawk Haven Vineyard & Winery –located near Cape May, NJ– he oversees the sparkling wine, still wine, and cidermaking operations.
