Loving Cup is Virginia’s only certified-organic vineyard and winery where they have been growing organically since 2008, and just finished their 14th vintage as a commercial winery. Karl was awarded the Virginia Vineyards Association’s Grape Grower of the Year Award after the 2018 season, during which Loving Cup survived nearly 100 inches of rain. Karl credits Loving Cup’s success to his focus on disease-resistant grape varieties, the power of teamwork, and his desire to farm with humility.
