Jocelyn Kuzelka

Winemaker

Jocelyn began making wine in Virginia in 2003, following her love of enology around the world with experience working wine grape harvests in the U.S., Italy, Australia and New Zealand. With a background in biochemistry and a Master’s in Enology and Viticulture, Jocelyn believes winemaking is more science than art, and in letting the fruit speak for itself. In 2021, she and longtime friend Megan Hereford started Daring Wine Company, a vision that grew from grapes without a home and a winery with space, where they produce only small-batch, high-quality wines and ciders from southwestern and central Virginia.
