Head Winemaker

Ray has been a key figure in the Eastern winemaking scene since 2005, starting his career in Southern Pennsylvania before finding his home as head winemaker at Linganore Winecellars. With a deep passion for enology, Ray is dedicated to crafting expressive, high-quality wines across a wide range of styles. Beyond his role at Linganore, he has consulted for numerous wineries and vineyards throughout the Mid-Atlantic, helping them establish and refine their winemaking programs. Recently, he expanded his expertise by launching his own label with his wife, Seven22 Wine Company, while also leading the winemaking for Simple Theory Wine Co.
