Co-Owner

Galen Troxell is a sixth-generation farmer, mechanical engineer, and co-owner of Galen Glen Winery, an estate winery located on his family’s 200-year-old farm in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley AVA. His engineering background has shaped his approach to vineyard development, winery operations, and solving the unique technical challenges of farming and winemaking in a demanding environment. 

At Galen Glen, Galen has been instrumental in developing vineyard systems, winery infrastructure, and operational solutions that support the production of distinctive estate-grown wines from the farm’s steep shale slopes and high-elevation site. 

Known for combining engineering principles with practical farming experience, Galen brings a problem-solving mindset to viticulture, equipment, and winery operations. He is passionate about innovation, land stewardship, and advancing the future of family-owned estate wineries.
