Research Associate

Dana holds the position of Research Associate at the AHS AREC in Winchester, VA, while also instructing a viticulture course at Virginia Tech. Originally from Serbia, she earned her BSc in Fruit Growing and Viticulture from the University of Belgrade. With a master’s degree in Horticulture from Michigan State University, Dana brings over ten years of extensive experience in cultivating grapevines and tree fruits. Her research primarily focuses on grapevine nutrition, fruit quality enhancement, and evaluating grapevine adaptability amidst climate change challenges.
