Matt has been involved with fermentation and alcohol production for twenty years and has been making mead for fifteen years. In 2010 he and his wife began Laurel Highlands Meadery in Greensburg, PA. While building their business, Matt earned a degree in Viticulture and Enology and has dedicated himself to educating people about the world’s oldest fermented beverage.
