General Manager/Vineyard Manager/Assistant Winemaker 

Originally, Scott had decided to assist his family in opening Deer Run Winery while taking a break from his career in the marine industry. After a few seasons under his belt and a new appreciation and enthusiasm for wine, he decided to stay on and make winemaking his new career. Scott has now been making wine in the Finger Lakes region for over 16 years and has earned over a dozen gold and double gold medals, as well as three Best in Category awards, as Deer Run Winery’s winemaker.
