With a degree in both Biology and Mathematics from Miami University, Joshua has led several research projects including Hyphomycetes in the Ohio River and their interaction with waste water treatment and microflora presence off the coast of Puerto Rico. He now works as a sanitation and biofilm remediation expert for the Belgium biotech company Realzyme. New research has led to wine-specific enzymatic cleaners for prevention of contamination and extension of membrane life span and efficiency. In his spare time Joshua studies viticulture and enology. He is establishing a 7-acre berry farm in southwest Ohio which will be used to provide unique varieties of berries to the ever-growing fruit wine sector and his local community.
