Bob Madill

Bob started his wine industry career in Niagara, Ontario.  He co-founded Sheldrake Point Winery, Finger Lakes, NY in 1997, overseeing the development of a 40-acre vineyard, winery, tasting room, and distribution sales. 

He is the Wine Director for Kindred Fare Restaurant, Geneva, Wine Industry Liaison for the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance, and a Board member of the International Riesling Foundation.  Bob represents Tonnellerie Bossuet in the Finger Lakes, NY, and Niagara, ON.  Bob is the Head Judge for the Finger Lakes International Wine & Spirits and judges at domestic and international wine competitions including a Jury President at the Concours des Grands Vins Blancs du Monde in Strasbourg, France. He is WSET 3 certified, a Certified Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers), and has been a certified AWS Wine Judge Instructor for many years and has conducted educational wine tours in Europe for US wine industry professionals as well as a frequent presenter for the American Wine Society and Society of Wine Educators.
