Yann Fay


Yann grew up drinking rustic farmstyle ciders in northern France. In 2004 he started his first job in the beverage industry as a seasonal part time tasting room employee at Bellwether Hard Cider in Trumansburg NY. After college, he moved back to the Finger Lakes of NY and returned to Bellwether where he worked various production positions from orchard manager to assistant cidermaker. In 2014, he became head cidermaker for Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards in Lafayette NY. There, he grew the cider program from a garage operation into one of the largest cider producers in the U.S. Currently head of beverages for Beak & Skiff, he specializes in carbonated beverages, kombucha, fruit juices, and cold brew coffee.
