Lindsay grew up in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. She completed her Bachelor degree in Food Science, concentrating in Fermentations at Cornell University just before the university began enrolling students into its Enology curriculum. During her years at Cornell she worked part time in the vineyard and tasting room of Sheldrake Point Winery in Ovid, NY. After completing her schooling, she continued full time as the cellar assistant at Sheldrake for two years helping to craft wines. In 2007 Lindsay moved on to Treleaven by King Ferry Winery in King Ferry, NY across Cayuga Lakes where she continues the winemaking traditions set forth by owners Peter and Tacie Saltonstall where chardonnay has been at the forefront of the portfolio since the winery began in 1988.
