As the next generation of the Hosmer family, Tim is an esteemed member of the wine industry. Growing up surrounded by grapes, most of his knowledge comes from experience as he watched his parents, Cameron and Maren Hosmer, begin and grow Hosmer Winery into the respected estate winery it is today. This hands-on knowledge is also supported by his Environmental Studies degree from the University of Vermont. In his day-to-day, Tim not only oversees vineyard and tasting room operations at Hosmer Winery, but he also works with several neighboring vineyards. For 15 years, Tim also carried over his knowledge of viticulture to Benchmark Custom Vineyard Planting, where he utilized GPS guided vineyard planting equipment to install new or add to existing vineyards across the Eastern U.S. Nowadays, Tim has taken a backseat in planting and has taken the reins in leading the team at Hosmer Winery & Patrician Verona Vineyards.
