Sustainability Program Manager
Justin is responsible for the New York Sustainable Winegrowing program and oversaw the first group of vineyards to be certified sustainable in 2022.
Before working at the NYWGF, Justin studied Horticulture at Texas A&M where he was first introduced to the world of wines and vines. It was love at first sip. Following his undergraduate work, he completed his master’s degree under Justine Vanden Heuvel at Cornell University. His research focused on alternative vineyard floor management strategies particularly the efficiency, economics, and consumer perception of integrating sheep into vineyards.
