Owner and Vintner of Briedé

Paul Briedé is the owner and vintner of Briedé Family Vineyards in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. A retired United Airlines Boeing 777 Captain, Paul brought the same dedication, precision, and passion from his aviation career to the vineyard, where he is actively involved in managing the vines and producing distinctive, small-lot wines. Together with his wife, Loretta, he has helped build Briedé Family Vineyards into a boutique winery known for its innovative wines and commitment to unique grape varieties. When he isn’t working among the vines, Paul is an avid runner and enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
