Eastern Winery Exposition Announces 2015 & 2016 Dates and Locations
WARWICK, RI —The Eastern Winery Exposition (EWE), is pleased to announce The Oncenter in Syracuse, New York, as the location for the 2015 conference and trade show. The dates are March 17-20. The 2016 event will return to the Lancaster County Convention Center in Pennsylvania, March 8-11.Show Manager Bob Mignarri stated, “I am excited to bring the 2015 show to Syracuse which offers a state-of-the-art facility that fits EWE perfectly. Syracuse will offer the wineries and vineyards in the Finger Lakes, Niagara, and Ontario, Canada areas easier geographical access to EWE and wineries in New England, and other parts of the East will still be within driving distance. Syracuse has a lot to offer in terms of affordable first-class hotels, a conveniently located airport and a variety of top-notch restaurants. The goal for the 2015 Eastern Winery Exposition is the same as it has been since the inception of the show three years ago; to give the Eastern Wine industry a professionally run, affordable event that they can view as their own.”
Carlo DeVito, owner of Hudson-Chatham Winery in Ghent, N.Y. said he was “thrilled” by the announcement EWE would be in Syracuse next year. “EWE continues to be a driving force in East Coast wines both through its seminars and through its trade show,” he says.
The 2014 event is sponsored by Wines & Vines and officially supported by 19 wine industry-related organizations, and three wine industry related media partners. The trade show has sold out its exhibit space with 179 companies and attendee pre-registration is 32% ahead of last year at the same time. The program features 22 sessions plus two half-day workshops and various social and networking events.
