After a 35 year career in manufacturing came to an unexpected end with a plant closure, Scott took his longtime hobby of winemaking to the commercial level. He and his wife Mary Ann started Seven Mountains Wine Cellars. Today at Seven Mountains he is putting an emphasis on creating some of the best dry reds produced in Pennsylvania. He has quickly become one of the state’s most award winning winemakers. In just 11 short years his wines have won 6 Governors Cups, 1 Keystone Cup and a 2019 Best of Show from the American Wine Society. Today, of the 300+ wineries in PA, Seven Mountains Wine Cellars ranks 18th in terms of production.
