Zach entered the wine industry in the summer of 2020, looking for a job that would relate to his chemistry degree: enter Ingleside Vineyards. They needed harvest help and Zach was willing to be a grunt for a while. His first harvest filled his head with questions about different techniques and methods of doing things, and he was hooked. Eager to learn more, he took on more responsibilities within the cellar. At the end of his second harvest the winemaker left; Zach applied, got the job, and is now at the start of his third harvest, the first as winemaker. Attention to detail and sanitation are his main priorities.
